zonline Pop-Up Bootcamp and Step Class – Feb 14, 2026

When energy, community, and fitness collide, magic happens, and that’s exactly what went down at the zonline Pop-Up Bootcamp and Step Class this past weekend hosted at Supa Car Sounds. What started as a simple idea from Khumz, zonline’s Business Developer and fitness enthusiast, turned into a vibrant gathering that left attendees buzzing with excitement and businesses wondering how they could get involved in future zonline Pop-Up Bootcamp events.

A Vision Turned Reality

Khumz, who already runs a small WhatsApp fitness group to motivate his community, wanted to make fitness accessible to everyone, free of charge – if not all the time, then once-in-a-while. With careful planning and a commitment to professionalism, he partnered with two powerhouse coaches: Coach Tendayi Chaipa, a seasoned fitness trainer with decades of experience, and Coach Sharon Alfred, known for her functional movement routines and infectious energy.

The result? A fitness event that felt less like a workout and more like a celebration; perfect on the morning of Valentine’s Day.

The Atmosphere

From the moment participants arrived, the vibe was electric. Music pumped through the speakers, laughter echoed across the training ground, and people of all ages joined in. Whether it was the high-intensity bootcamp drills or the rhythmic step sequences, everyone found themselves moving, sweating, and smiling.

The Workout Line-Up

The Saturday program was designed by Coach Tendayi to challenge, energize, and unite everyone through a mix of strength, endurance, and functional training. Participants didn’t just exercise, they conquered obstacles together.

Here’s what went down:

  • Stretch & Warm-Up (10 minutes): Preparing the body and mind for the session ahead.
  • 6Base Bootcamp: A circuit of high-energy drills that kept everyone moving.
  • Tyre Pulls: Teamwork and grit combined in this demanding exercise.
  • Tyre Flip: A test of raw strength and determination.
  • Dumbell Swings: Building explosive power and stamina.
  • Barbell Pump: Classic strength training to finish strong.
  • Battle Ropes: Power and endurance training that had arms and shoulders burning.
  • Big Hammer Slams: Releasing energy with every strike.
  • Step Class: A rhythm-driven workout combining aerobic movement with choreographed step routines.

The variety of activities ensured that every muscle group was engaged, every participant was challenged, and no one left without feeling accomplished.

One attendee, Wellington Musengwa (Legal Practitioner), shared:

“Boot camp exceeded my expectations! The mix of cardio, strength, and agility training was intense but so much fun. Loved the energy of the group and the coaches’ motivation. Insights on nutrition were also invaluable. Definitely doing this again 👍🏽”

Another participant, Kupakwamwari Midzi, added:

“This bootcamp was the perfect mix of ‘What have I signed up for?’ and ‘When is the next one?’ The energy was contagious, the workout was intense (my muscles are still negotiating with me 😅) and the atmosphere made fitness feel exciting rather than intimidating. Huge thanks to Khumz for delivering such a vibrant and motivating experience and big appreciation to Supa Car Sounds for hosting us and boosting the vibe, as well as Shower to Shower for keeping us fresh after the sweat session. Definitely an experience worth repeating. 🏋🏾🏋🏾🏋🏾”

And Rudo Chikanda summed it up perfectly:

“Coach Tendayi pushed us beyond what we thought we could do, but in such a motivating way. I haven’t felt this alive in years! This wasn’t just exercise, it was joy, it was family, it was empowerment.”

Khumz’ Reflections

For Khumz, the mastermind behind the initiative, the event was more than just a success… it was a revelation.

I was honestly blown away by the turnout and the energy. I knew people would enjoy it, but I didn’t expect this level of excitement. Seeing everyone laughing, sweating, and connecting made me realize this is bigger than just fitness; it’s about community. I can’t wait to launch the next event with the coaches in March and make it even better; we have an exceptional team.
