Group/Corporate Dance Classes - Adults - Group Dance lessons are perfect for a friend's dance party, corporate team building activity, or if you want to be meet new people and have fun. You may not get the attention you get from a private lesson but you still learn a great deal and meet awesome other people also interested in dancing.

You can book a once off class/Pay As You Go or better yet book more classes to save money... the more sessions you book for in advance.

Brief descriptions of the different dance styles we offer at our dance studio.

Learn Kizomba: Kizomba is one of the most popular genres of dance and music originating from Angola. It is a derivative of semba, with a mix of Kilapanda and Angolan Merengue, and sung generally in Portuguese. It is music with a romantic flow. It was the Kimbundu name for a dance in Angola as early as 1894.

Learn Rumba: Rumba, also spelled rhumba, ballroom dance of Afro-Cuban folk-dance origin that became internationally popular in the early 20th century. Best known for the dancers' subtle side to side hip movements with the torso erect, the rumba is danced with a basic pattern of two quick side steps and a slow forward step.

Learn Samba: Samba is a ballroom dance of Brazilian origin, popularized in western Europe and the United States in the early 1940s. Characterized by simple forward and backward steps and tilting, rocking body movements.

Learn Cha-cha-cha: Cha-cha-cha, also known as the Cha-cha, is a fast rhythmic ballroom dance of Latin American origin with a basic pattern of three steps and a shuffle. This dance really gets you moving on the dance floor.

Learn Salsa: Salsa is a syncretic dance form with origins from Cuba as the meeting point of Spanish (European) and African cultures.It's a mixture of Cuban dances, such as mambo, pachanga and rumba, as well as American dances such as swing and tap. It's a partner dance often danced to the music genre of the same name Salsa music.

Learn Bachata: The Bachata is a playful Latin dance style danced with soft hip motions, turns and side-to-side footwork. The music of Bachata is very recognizable for its predominant use of the electric guitar combined with Dominican Republic and Latin musical influences.

Learn Marenge: Merengue dance is a ballroom dance of Haitian and Dominican origin in which one foot is dragged on every step. It's also the Dominican Republic's national dance, which accompanies the merengue style of music.

Learn Jive: Jive dance is an energetic, upbeat partner dance with one partner leading and the other following. Jive dance relies heavily on kicking and spinning, which makes it very similar to the US East Coast swing dance. This dance style has origins in the early US jazz music scene of the late 1920s and early 1930s.

Learn Waltz: The waltz meaning "to roll or revolve" is a smooth closed position ballroom and folk dance, normally in triple time travelling around the line of dance and characterized by its “rise and fall” action. It's normally danced to the music genre of the same name walts music.

Learn Tango: Tango is a partner dance and social dance that originated in the 1880s along the Río de la Plata, the natural border between Argentina and Uruguay. Tango dance emphasizes the vibrant and playful style of movement, rich expressions, improvisation and requires close connection and passion between dancers. It's a dance with basic pattern of step-step-step-step-close and characterized by long pauses and stylized body positions.
