The Alibi – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Alibi. By entering our premises, making a reservation, or using our services in-person or online, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for all our guests and staff.

1. General Conduct

• Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and other patrons.

• Disorderly, abusive, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the premises.

• The Alibi reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion.

2. Age Restrictions

• Guests must be 18 years or older to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.

• Proof of age (valid ID, passport, or driver’s license) may be requested at any time.

• Minors are welcome during café hours when accompanied by a responsible adult, but not permitted in the bar area after 6 PM.

3. Reservations & Bookings

• Reservations are recommended for business clients, large groups and special events.

• We may require a deposit for group bookings or private functions.

• Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting deposits.

4. Food & Beverage Policy

• No outside food or beverages are permitted on the premises.

• Menu items and prices are subject to change without prior notice.

• We strive to accommodate dietary needs; please inform staff of allergies or restrictions.

5. Sports & Entertainment

• The Alibi provides live sports screenings and entertainment at its discretion.

• Seating for sports events is on a first‑come, first‑served basis unless otherwise reserved.

• We cannot guarantee availability of specific matches or events due to broadcast rights or technical issues.

6. Payments

• We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and mobile money payments.

• All prices include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

• Service charges may apply for large groups or special events.

7. Liability

• The Alibi is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

• Guests are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their property while on the premises.

• Any damage to property caused by a guest may result in charges to cover repair or replacement.

8. Privacy

• CCTV cameras are in operation for the safety and security of our guests and staff.

• Personal information collected for reservations or events will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

9. Amendments

• The Alibi reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on www.thealibi.co.zw and/or official communication channels.
